Meet John Spiker
John is a native West Virginian & seasoned auctioneer with over 50 years of experience, claimed the 2024 West Virginia Auctioneers Bid Calling Championship along with the People’s Choice Award. His journey began in 1970 after attending auction school, inspired by his childhood love for auctioneering and rural upbringing in Weston. Alongside his wife Sue Ann, John owns and operates a thriving farm in Jane Lew, maintaining six generations of farming heritage. With his son David, he manages 150 head of cattle and offers veterinary services, demonstrating his deep commitment to agriculture.
In addition to his auctioneering success, John has been a licensed real estate agent specializing in land, farm, and machinery auctions at Kaufman Realty & Auctions in Bridgeport for over seven years. He’s also an active member of Jewel City Church in Shinnston, contributing to local initiatives. With a lifetime of dedication to auctioneering and agriculture, John Spiker continues to make a significant impact on West Virginia’s auction landscape.
